Hello I’m Mayor John Bencivengo and I have a challenge for Hamilton, which includes me. Life is busy and we often forget about the most important aspect of our life, our health. Today as Mayor I want to help myself and all Hamiltonians lose weight for a better quality lifestyle. Obesity in children and in adults has reached an all time high. The risks that come along with obesity are many including three life threatening diseases, cancer, heart disease and diabetes. Today, I want you to join me and others in our community in losing weight. The challenge is for Hamiltonians to lose

ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND

pounds combined. We will have special events and provide you with opportunities for exercise and informational health tips, to eat right, enabling you to maintain a healthy weight loss program with all your friends and neighbors. WE CAN DO IT TOGETHER. The reason for this intiative is to raise awareness and try to be part of the cure. As a township in a very large America we can be part of the combined solution one person, one street, one state and one nation at a time, healthy and vibrant for ourselves and future generations...

We are encouraging our employees to become part of a documented and health conscience program so we may lower our health costs. This will help our individual employees and our taxpayers by keeping the cost of health care in America affordable.

So join today by getting your password. So log-in periodically and monitor your success. Share your story with us. Let your story inspire others. I am proud of HAMILTON and I am sure we together can meet the challenge
